AWARDS EVENING 2010 - CHANGE OF DATE TO TUESDAY 27th APRIL 2010	21/02/2010
As a consequence of the rescheduling of the April league programme and in particular the Divisional Cup Finals now being a week later on April 25th 2010, the AWARDS EVENING has been pit back a week to TUESDAY, APRIL 27th 2010. The venue and time is unchanged, i.e. Old Dr.Butler's Head pub from 6-8pm.

Veterans hockey - new teams welcome	11/02/2010
We are looking to expand the number of men's veterans teams we have in the league - if any club wishes to talk to us about entering a team, please contact Jim Jarrett (see the Contacts page)

ADDITIONAL LEAGUE SLIP DATE - APRIL 10th 2010	21/01/2010
In view of the large number of lost games due to bad weather & the probable loss of some more before the end of the winter the League Management has designated SATURDAY APRIL 10TH 2010 as an ADDITIONAL LEAGUE SLIP DATE. PURLEY WALC VETS WITHDRAWN FROM LONDON VETS DIV 1	11/10/2009
Unfortunately Purley Walcountonians Veterans find they are unable to sustaain a veterans ream this season and have withdrawn from the London Vets Division 1. All their fixtures and results for the 2009-10 season will therefore be deleted and they will be deemed to have finished bottom of that Division at the end of the season.

VERY IMPORTNANT.

At the 2009 AGM, impoertant changes were agree to Rules 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 & 7.4 concerning the penalties for match cancellations. The exact revised wording will appear in the 2009-10 London League Handbook which will be issued to all Clubs very shortly. NUMBERED SHIRTS - PREMIER DIVISION & DIVISION 1	12/11/2007
IMPORTANT: All teams in these Divisions MUST wear numbered shirts in accoedance with Rule 13.4. This applies to all squad members and all numbers must be different. Fines will be levied for reported breaches of this Rule.

The basic change is that whilst the standard penalty for cancellation will continue to be a 5-0 defeat, the additional penalty for late cancellation (ie after 8pm on the previous Tuesday) will now be a deduction of an additional 3 points (instead of the previous 10=0 defeat).
